Educator. Blogger. Learner. Geek

For many years, I was a professional development leader in the Fairfax County Public Schools, providing training and support for their 200 school-based technology specialists (ITRTs). I regularly present at local, state, and national conferences, sharing ideas for integrating technology in the classroom. Currently I serve on the board of directors of the Virginia Society for Technology in Education, the state ISTE affiliate, and on the conference committee. My specialties include using Google's mapping tools, photography, blogging in the classroom, and helping everyone better manage their information overload. Please connect with me through my blog (www.assortedstuff.com), my training resource center (www.assortedstuff.com/stuff), on Twitter (@timstahmer), and on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/assortedstuff).
