We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Barbara Brand and Karen Miller are School Based Technology Specialists at a large secondary school with an enrollment of approximately 4,000 students and over 300 staff members. We each have over twenty years o classroom teaching experience at the secondary level prior to becoming SBTS. We have agressively been been rolling out Google Apps for Education to our students and staff over the last year and a half. We are moving our school towards integrating technology into our instruction and administrative processes through Google docs, sites, and forms amongst other initiatives.
