We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Kelly Willis-Dorrity is an educator with an MA in Elementary Education. In addition to her position as the School Based Technology Specialist at Beech Tree Elementary School, she has worked on various projects for Fairfax County Public Schools. Ms. Willis-Dorrity aligned lessons to the Standards of Learning and FCPS Technology Scaffold. She sat on the committee to review committee for technology contract renewal. She currently serves as a mentor to a novice teacher and a novice SBTS. Kelly has experience working with children and adult learners. She specializes in helping teachers develop new ways to deliver instruction using technology. In addition to computer knowledge, Ms. Willis-Dorrity has taught enrichment courses in engineering, mathematics, physics, and marine biology. She uses her experience with teaching students of diverse needs and backgrounds to help teachers refine their instruction.
Jodi Denne is also an SBTS with Fairfax County Public Schools. She's is partnering with Kelly to present on 21st Technology lesson planning.
