We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

This session is designed to clear up copyright confusion and helps teachers understand their responsibilities and rights under copyright law, especially in relationship to the increased use of digital media, mass media and popular culture as tools for building students' critical thinking and communication skills.  Learn some helpful ideas and tools to teach students and staff about copyright and fair use.
