We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Google Forms and Sheets provide students and teachers with user-friendly tools that help express data in a powerful and meaningful way. Both quantitative and qualitative data can be analyzed and understood much better when put into an interactive chart, a word cloud, or a map. Students will put their critical thinking skills into test when deciding what are the most appropriate ways of presenting information.
Even though numbers, graphs and charts can be thought to be only applicable in Math, all other subject areas will benefit from this workshop.
