We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Taking data in the special ed environment is often cumbersome and time consuming, particularly in the IDS world since we are unable to use any standardized testing or assessment vehicles. Now by using Google Forms along with iPads and other mobile devices, this data collection is no longer quite so daunting. This session will show this data collection in action and demonstrate how to construct, share and link data collection forms which will feed into spreadsheets to aggregate the data for meaningful analysis.
