We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Integrating Google Apps Into The Middle School Classroom

This one hour session will be a "Top Ten" ways to use Google Apps in the middle school classroom. Topics will include an interactive Google Site for overall classroom management; Google forms, spreadsheets, and calendars for monitoring student progress and stats; Google Docs and Draw, Forms, and Presentations used for interactive lessons and students production tools. Authentic examples and student work will be shared.

Session ideas and materials  applicable to upper elementary, middle, and secondary classrooms.
