We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams. 

Register now to send teachers, administrators, tech directors, library media specialists, tech support staff, CTOs, and anyone who is interested in finding out more about leveraging Google Apps for Education to support student learning.

In this workshop, participants will learn idea and strategies to developINTERACTIVE Google Documents that will "HOOK" students in to becoming MORE involved in their own learning experience. Participants will learn how to incorporate weblinks, videos, and images into Google Documents to create opportunities for students to collaborate creating one document to demonstrate understanding of curriculum objectives.

Joyce Matthews, former SBTS and Kim Quarles, SBTS at Walt Whitman Middle School will work with participants to help them learn strategies and techniques to incorporate Google Docs with any instructional program.
