We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

In this workshop, participants will learn how SKETCHUP can be a valuable learning tool in the classroom. Participants will have the opportunity to explore possibilities of utilizing SKETCHUP as a part of curriculum instruction and classroom activities. Participants will learn how SKETCHUP is being used to "HOOK" students in to becoming more involved in "redesigning" historical sites and learning about the history of these sites as they redesign them in 3D.
