We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

This workshop will talk about the “Teacher” social media sites, help you create and develop your own profiles on each, and teach you the rules of the game. Let’s not stop there! We are going to learn about how developing a personal blog will help you reflect better on everything you do in the classroom AND we will create Google Blogger accounts with a first post to get you going!
