We invite you to join us for the first annual Google in Education Fairfax Summit to be held at Lee High School on August 19th and 20th, 2013. This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Discover how educators can be in the driver's seat to better personal productivity, creating, sharing, and collaboration with Google Drive. Educators will learn how large files can easily be shared for project based delivery without the need to email files, share on a flash drive, or turn in paper. Topics covered: Encourage teachers-student interaction, encourage student-student cooperation, and supporting diverse student talents & ways of learning. I will also cover some of the features of Google Drive including the automatic video conversion (to show videos without YouTube) and the installation of apps in Google Drive that foster creativity and collaboration.
