Google Apps Scripts are simple computer programs that are designed to work hand in hand with the whole suite of Google Apps (email, documents, sites, spreadsheets, etc). Among other uses, they can dynamically display your content on a website, provide a user interface for sharing Google Docs according to your specific teacher requirements, or keep track of and analyze data. Oh yes, and they can grade quizzes. In this session, I will discuss several of the most useful scripts which are currently available to install in your Google Docs. I will also discuss my own experience in writing my own Google Scripts and demonstrate examples of code that help you connect various Google Apps together. Let's talk about ways in which Google Scripts might help solve existing classroom and school problems.
